The Innate Teacher Training program is a 200 Hour Level One certification program carefully designed by Natalie Perez-Hayden. The program is for serious students of yoga who want to deepen their practice, and for students who wish to become teachers themselves.

This training will prepare you to facilitate inward and outward growth in yourself and in your students confidently, by living, learning, and embracing all aspects of a yogic lifestyle. Innate deepens the connection to oneself and the earth through the wisdom of Mayan and Ayurvedic healing practices. These traditions, designed to grant you access to the infinite wisdom you carry within, harmonize with the spirit of Innate to form a holistic offering rooted in the Indian philosophy of yoga and blending Natalie’s rich Mayan ancestry.

POINTS OF STUDY

  • Yoga Philosophy, Psychology, History and Lifestyle

  • Subtle and Gross  energy anatomy pertaining to Chakras, Nadis, Yavus and Bandhas

  • Asana Anatomy + proper alignment + hands on assisting

  • INNATE signature sequences applied as building blocks and mentoring for new teachers to creatively sequence their own classes and continue development

  • Introduction to Meditation + Mindfulness,  Pranayama

  • Introduction to Healing Mayan Therapies + Daily Ayurvedic Lifestyle Practices

  • Entrepreneurship + Leadership rooted in one’s authentic purpose and path

PREREQUISITES

  • One year minimum of regular yoga practice.

  • A flexible body free of injuries is NOT a requirement for this training.  In fact we encourage people with all body types and those physical challenges to consider this program.  The struggles and challenges you will face through the course of this training will only make you a better teacher and student.

ACCREDITATION

This teacher training qualifies for The Yoga Alliance 200 Hour Certification. Upon completion of the program, students will be qualified to receive a Registered Yoga Teacher Certification through the Yoga Alliance.

Students complete (180) contact hours with lead trainer and 20 hours self study, class observation, practice teaching and book reports.

WHERE YOU WILL BE

Belize Jungle Yoga is a pristine collection of villas, casitas, and cabanas on a single family estate. Each abode is modern and luxurious, yet authentic and true to their Central American roots. The food served at BJY is all organic, almost all of which is grown there on the farm.

Belize Jungle Yoga cultivates peace and serenity through the thoughtfully designed gardens and water features throughout the property. Soak in the rising sun at the meditation pond. Stroll over the garden pond or swim in the pool overlooking the jungle and pastures. Hear the bird songs as you breathe in the moments at the jungle spa. The entire property inspires you to feel the connection and love for our human family as you enjoy a reality that exists through people like you manifesting their highest purpose and dreams.

How to get there

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at the Philip S. W. Goldson International Airport (BZE), from where you will be picked up by special shuttle to Belize Jungle Yoga.

What is the deposit and tuition?

$4700 | Double occupancy  

$7100 | Single occupancy

A reservation requires a deposit of 25% of the total price. The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled. The balance of the tuition is due (120) days before arrival.

What is the cancellation policy?

Deposits are non-refundable. Remaining fees are fully refundable (60) days in advance.

Cancellations made (120) days or more from the training will receive a full refund minus the deposit. Cancellations (120) days or less will receive no refund.
